For the sixth time in seven years, Ethan Hemphill, 35, of Freeport paced the field, finishing in 15 minutes, 14 seconds. Judson Cake, 30, of Bar Harbor was close behind in 15:19, and Jonathan Wilson, 20, of Falmouth was third in 15:21.
Sheri Piers, 36, of Falmouth edged training partner Kristin Barry, 34, of Scarborough for the women's title, reversing the order of finish from the previous two years. Piers and Barry were both timed in 17:26, matching Barry's course record. Carry Buterbaugh, 36, of South Portland was third for the second year in a row with a time of 17:59.

Ticket to game required For the fourth straight season the Portland Sea Dogs and Mercy Hospital are offering families a unique opportunity to celebrate Father’s Day, a week early, by playing catch on Hadlock Field prior to the game on Sunday, June 8th.
The event will run from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM sharp. All you need to participate is a ticket to the 1:00 PM game against the Akron Aeros. So bring your gloves and family and come out to celebrate a special day.
Tickets are available by calling the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500.
Please note that in order to ensure the safety of all participants time may be limited so we may accommodate as many fans as possible during the allotted time period.
| SEA DOGS TEAM UP WITH THE CYCSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION
On Sunday, May 25th, the Portland Sea Dogs will be running a fundraiser to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northern New England. The CF Foundation will have an information table in the concourse and PSA's regarding the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be played on the Hadlock Field Ford Board prior to and during the game with the New Britain Rock Cats. In addition, the Sea Dogs are donating a portion of ticket proceeds to the CF Foundation of Northern New England and will participate in a check presentation prior to the game. Volunteers of the CF Foundation will also be throwing out a ceremonial first pitch and will be singing the national anthem.

Now a new book honors the history of the organization. The Portland Sea Dogs by Wendy Sotos, a former Sea Dogs’ intern, is part of the Images of Baseball Series by Arcadia Publishing. More than 200 photos tell the story of the Sea Dogs’ past and present. The book will be released on Monday, April 28th.
